Due to a statewide government shutdown, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency will discontinue all of its operations except those that are most critical – responding to environmental emergencies, maintaining equipment at certain closed landfills and other cleanup sites, and notifying citizens of an air quality alert. The MPCA website will be closed for the duration of the state government shutdown. This includes their site for kids about frogs.
