Do not confuse this with homeschooling. You are under public school laws when you enroll in a virtual public school. These are not recommended, but are linked here to serve as a reference.

A rapidly growing form of free public school that students in grades K-12 attend outside the walls of a traditional classroom.
Florida Public School Options
A consortium of K12-managed virtual district programs that use the K12 curriculum) and K12 give Florida kids in grades K-12 the chance to learn in the ways that are right for them.
Florida Virtual School (grades 6-12)
The Florida Legislature initially funded FLVS as a grant-based pilot project in 1997, pioneering Florida’s first Internet-based, public high school. The school has grown phenomenally, allowing students to learn at any time, any place, any path, and any pace.
Michigan Virtual High School
Class.com. MVHS can make your job simpler by providing easy access to high-quality online courses taught by certified teachers. Through MVHS, your student will be part of a virtual classroom, interacting with other high school students.
Minnesota Virtual High School
Minnesota Transitions Charter School. We offer a full or part-time option for students, grades 7-12, who are looking for an alternative to the traditional environment, for whatever reason.
Nevada Learning Academy
Courses at Nevada Learning Academy at CCSD extend from credit recovery and remediation to honors and Advanced Placement® for full-time or part-time students.
Ohio Virtual Academy
K12.com. A publicly funded, tuition-free community school. Licensed teachers work with parents and students using a blend of traditional and technology-based teaching strategies and support.
Ontario (Canada) Virtual high School
Desire2Learn Learning Management system. The largest online private high school in Canada and its 57 online courses are now available to all students in all countries. Students do not have to live in Ontario to attend VHS.
Oregon Virtual Academy
K12.com. ORVA families receive a complete curriculum, lesson planning programs, books and instructional materials, the use of a computer system, and the guidance of a state-licensed teacher.
Quaker Digital Academy
Our district offers a FREE public education for students K-12 throughout the State of Ohio. Our curriculum is aligned with state standards, but parents are encouraged to add religious-based programs if they so desire.
South Carolina Virtual Charter School
K12.com. Partners parents and students with a highly qualified, South Carolina-licensed teacher to guide and track their progress and achievement through the curriculum. There are frequent face-to-face meetings and events as well.
Texas Virtual Academy@Southwest
