What’s Happening on A2Z?

As many of you know, Ann Zeise has retired from A2Z and is off pursuing other new projects. I’ve been working behind the scenes for a while now but it is time to step forward and take the reigns.

So without further ado, Hi!

So a little about me.

My name is Andrea Dillon and I am homeschooling mom to two wonderful kids. I didn’t start out wanting to homeschool. I always dreamed of being a teacher and would play school with all my dolls and stuffed animals when I was little. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2007, taught for a couple of years, and then I had my son and decided to stay home. I went back to school for my Master’s Degree in Early Education in 2010 and my daughter followed shortly after.

As my son neared Kindergarten age, I became concerned about the state of my local schools both as a parent and a teacher. I decided to try homeschooling for a year to see if we could do it. Now, five years later, we are still homeschooling strong.

So what is changing on A2Z? Not a lot. A2Z will still be providing homeschool support and information but I will be adding my own voice to the site to share what I have learned on my homeschooling journey so far. I will continue to update the resources already available on the site, as well as, sharing the new things I learn as we continue on.

So let’s get started!

Make sure to sign up for my newsletters and interact with me on A2Z’s Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and Youtube social channels.

-Andrea Dillon
