Fun With Kids

Flat Travelers Homeschool
This idea is based on the book “Flat Stanley”. A Flat Traveler is a person, animal or thing made out of paper. You print or draw your Traveler, laminate it and then mail it along with a blank journal to someone in another area, state or country. The host family treats your Flat Traveler as a guest and takes it places they go.

Publication Social Networks

KONOS with Jessica Hulcy
If you have every wanted to ask another KONOS user a question about how they handled a section of the curriculum, or even wanted to get advice from Jessica and Wade about how best to teach your children using KONOS, this is the list for you.

Learning at Home and Beyond
A message board on Mothering.com, a natural family living magazine.

Sonlight Forums
To help answer questions about everything from how to choose your curriculum to how to use your curriculum; and to accomplish everything from simply chatting with fellow users of Sonlight Curriculum to acquiring a belly-laugh from a good, clean joke, this area is designed for you.

SEA Homeschoolers CHAT
It is our hope that SEA Chat becomes a welcoming group where all members can discuss topics not related to academic homeschooling. The group is intended as a positive force, and only those people who want to have a constructive discussion should sign up for it.

SEA LGBTQ
This group is for LGBTQ secular homeschooling families. All members must be approved, and you may receive a message before approval. Please be sure to check your “Other” message folder. This is a safe place of support, free of judgment, for LGBTQ homeschoolers in SEA (for parents or kids who are LGBTQ). Membership in the main SEA group is a requirement for membership in SEA LGBTG.

Secular, Eclectic, Academic (SEA) Homeschoolers
This group is a friendly, diverse bunch. The SEA motto is, “Our differences are our strength.” We highly value the diversity each member brings to SEA Homeschoolers. We have this group and several affiliated groups. This is the main group, and in this groups we talk about all things academic.

Secular Homeschooling Forums
General Chitchat, The Preschool Years, Elementary Kids, Preteens and Teens, Organizational details, Keeping it fun, and Curriculum Help.
