Delight a child’s sense of adventure with a guided nature tour at The Mariners’ Museum Park this summer! A fun learning experience for children ages 5-10 years old, come wander among the trees with tree expert and President of the Peninsula Master Naturalists Daina Henry. Learn about the animals that rely on the trees and forest for food, shelter, and protection while also getting tips on identifying the various tree species that make up the 550 acres of The Mariners’ Museum Park. Enjoy the outdoors with your children this summer!

 

This guided walk will meet at Harvey Field, which is located on Museum Drive between the Museum and the Lions Bridge. The tour will take less than a third of a mile (approximately 30-40 minutes) along the Noland Trail.
