Come learn with us at the Marine Science Institute!

Afternoon Ecology is an “afterschool” educational program designed to foster the natural curiosity of young minds. This program is designed for student ages 6-10.

During this session of Afternoon Ecology, students will explore the many different ecosystems that are found in their own backyard around the San Francisco Bay Area. Each day, students will learn about a different local ecosystem by participating in activities and interacting with animals from that habitat. Students will be using teamwork to cooperate in small groups, and record their favorite animals and fascinating facts in their log books each week.

Classes run Mondays January 14th-March 4th* from 3:30pm-5:30pm at our facility in Redwood City.

*No classes will be held on January 21 (Martin Luther King Day)  and February 19 (Presidents Day)

Cost is $130/student. Registration can be found here.
