The Indianapolis Early Music Festival is thrilled to have survived after a year’s absence in 2020 due to COVID and then restricted seating in 2021. This highly respected festival will begin on June 24 with a six week schedule of concerts, both live and live-streamed. With resilience and imagination, Artistic Director, Mark Cudek, also director of the prestigious Peabody Institute of John Hopkins University, has put together a unique season of Baroque and Renaissance music. This internationally acclaimed festival will run from June 24 through July 24, in the Basile Auditorium of the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Museum in downtown Indianapolis. The final concert on July 24 will be the Indianapolis International Baroque competition with five laureates from around the world who still are able to come after a two-year hiatus!

Technological advances have given us the opportunity to live stream our events to not only Central Indiana but around the world, reaching larger audiences. allowing more guests to enjoy, once again, the joy of live music. Tickets for live streamed tickets can be ordered through Brown Paper Tickets. Tickets for live performances which include a pre-concert chat and a post concert opportunity for conversation with the artists can be ordered through IEMusic.org or contacting the office at 317 537-2458. Advance tickets are $20 with an “at the door” price of $25 for remaining seats.
