Welcome to our upcoming River Through Time timeline event.

Every Memorial Weekend at Heritage Park, Coldwater, Michigan.

This is our 15th year of operation and we look forward to children of all ages learning about life
throughout time, from Voyageurs/Fur Trade Era, (1600s) French & Indian War, Revolutionary War,
War of 1812, Mexican Texas War, Civil War, Indian Wars, Spanish American War, WW 1, WW 2,
Korean War, Vietnam eras. (1975). There will be many demonstrators, reenactors, Native wigwams
and tipis, Native American Drumming, early settler encampments, military encampments, battles
and skirmishes. Our demonstrators and reenactors are always eager to engage and answer any
questions the children may have.

There will be old fashioned games for the children and adults to participate in – Tug of War, potato
sack race and horse shoes to name a few. Make a candle, make some rope. Watch the blacksmith
make some nails, help the doctor tend to wounded soldiers and so much more! There will be
numerous merchants and traders for purchasing souvenirs, snacks and drinks as well.

Education Day is available to all students of all ages, from all types of schools – public, private, and
home. Admission is free of charge. Friday is packed full of activities for a fun filled educational day
for children and adults alike. After education day has completed board the Steam Train Though
Time for a western themed train robbery and a historical battle. Which timelines will be battling it
out, you must ride the train to find out! This train is free of charge to all school age children.
