SEA Homeschoolers is planning a celebration!
Join your fellow secular, eclectic homeschoolers at our first annual homeschool conference in Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.
SEA Homeschoolers has partnered with Shephard University to provide a teen track for high school students.
Come join us for a weekend of fun, family, friendship, networking, and learning.
This graphic was designed to celebrate the first annual Secular, Eclectic, Academic Homeschoolers’ Conference. It is more than a conference image. In one image it symbolizes the mission of SEA Homeschoolers. The graphic shows an evolutionary “tree” symbolizing the strong foundation of learning that leads to open-ended possibilities and opportunities. SEA Homeschoolers hopes you will join us in June, 2017 as our community celebrates handcrafting our children’s journey through learning.
- Not yet a homeschooler? The SEA Homeschoolers’ Conference is a great place to learn more about homeschooling.
- There will be talks about different learning philosophies, such as the classical method, project-based learning, Charlotte Mason, child-led learning, unschooling, and handcrafting your child’s journey through learning.
- Round-table sessions to discuss important topics, such as homeschooling kids with learning disabilities, 2E kids, and homeschooling through high school are planned.
- Best of all you will be able to interact in person with your SEA Homeschoolers’ Community.
It isn’t all about homeschooling. The conference is being held at Shepherd University. The University is within minutes to an hour of many amazing opportunities.
West Virginia is considered a great place for outdoor adventure with tubing, hiking, climbing, swimming and relaxing all a short drive.
