Support Groups

ASD Homeschooling South Auckland
We are a local group (South Auckland and surrounding areas) for families who Homeschool and have children on the Autism Spectrum and/or have different/gifted learning abilities.

Auckland Home Educators
An incorporated society of home educating parents living in the greater Auckland region, who actively facilitate their children’s education on a full-time basis. Homeschool Outings – Auckland Area has field trips they’ve organized. Facebook group.

Canterbury Home Education
This group is for anyone home-educating (or considering) in the Canterbury and surrounding areas to join, for support, info, meet-ups, etc.

Canterbury Home Educators
CHE presently has a membership of approximately 224 families. During the year, many of these families get together and organise shared activities and resources for their children’s benefit.

Homeschool Auckland Sport & Cultural Association
HASCA is an incorporated society that was set up in 2002 by North Shore home educating parents to promote, encourage, and unite home educating families in sports, activities and cultural events.

Indigenous Homeschoolers
A community for Indigenous homeschoolers to share idea’s and find support. This group welcomes all, including settler allies who want to learn how to be more inclusive and decolonize their own homeschooling.

Pukekohe and areas (Franklin) Homeschool Group
An inclusive group based around the greater Franklin area, supporting homeschoolers and home educators in the South Auckland and North Waikato Districts. Our aim is to provide information and support for home educators and homeschoolers of all creeds and philosophies through this page.

Wairarapa Homeschoolers
“We are a group of families who have selected to home educate one or more of our children based on our own personal philosophies, using our own choice of programs and methods. We choose to come together when suitable to support and encourage each other in our educational journey and respect each other’s choices. We have playgroups, a teens group, and regularly organise activities in the Wairarapa and Wellington area, along with parent get-togethers.”
