Ontario Christian Home Educators Connection
OCHEC is a Provincial volunteer organization that seeks to connect, support, and equip all those who are involved in Home Education in the province of Ontario.
Ontario Federation of Teaching Parents
OFTP is a non-profit group run by volunteers that provides information about home learning, enables networking among its members, and serves as an advocacy group and link between the homeschooling community and the provincial government. Open to all, regardless of faith or educational style.
Rideau Valley Home Educators’ Association
A Christian organization. The association serves a membership made up of families from the Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec region in Canada.

Policy/Program Memorandum No. 131
The most important change in School Board / Home Education relations in Ontario in the last couple of decades has been Policy/Program Memorandum No.131. OFTP was instrumental in bringing about this change in policy.
School Board Request for Monitoring
The demands to monitor home education are based on local school board policy. They do not appear in the law of the land, the Education Act. OFTP.
