American Red Cross Bay Area’s Leadership Development Center
LDC is held at Mills College in Oakland annually in July. This 4-day, overnight camp is designed to build strong leaders and positive relationships among Bay Area Youth (entering grades 9-11). Homeschoolers invited and encouraged to attend.

California High School Proficiency Exam
The CHSPE is a way for teen homeschoolers to prove they have mastered high school subjects and graduate. Beginning with the April 2004 administration, the fee for taking the CHSPE will be $85. About the school code: we have been told to put “see attached” and include a copy of your R4 with a note saying it is a school with fewer than six students and therefore has no sdc code.
