Bay Area Homeschool Network
This group was created as a resource/support group for families who are considering homeschooling. All are welcome, but I’m most interested in building this community in the Bay Area because there may be laws, ordinances, rules, etc that are specific to this region with regard to specific districts, local charter schools, etc.
Bay Area Life Learners
Bay Area Life Learners gathers for regular Monday and Friday park days and other activities. We meet at parks from the lower Peninsula to the upper South Bay as well as beaches, museums, zoos, hiking trails, etc around the Bay Area.
Bay Area Special Needs Homeschoolers
A group where homeschool families with special needs can brainstorm ideas, get advice and share in the joys and struggles of homeschooling our amazing children. We strive for this to be a safe place and to be inclusive to all walks of life. No matter race, religion, sexual orientation or gender.
San Francisco Bay Area Gifted homeschoolers
We are a group of families homeschooling intellectually gifted children in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our main goal is to facilitate connections and friendships among our member families, so we emphasize real-life participation and ask that our members live within a one-hour radius of Redwood City, California.
San Francisco Bay Unschooling Network
SFBUN meets regularly around the San Francisco Bay Area for game days, potlucks, and other fun outings and get-togethers, with an emphasis on having fun! We strive to create opportunities for unschooling families to play together, make new connections, develop close friendships, and enjoy the freedom of living an unschooled life.
