Homeschooling is a grand adventure for both parents and children. One of the first steps when deciding to homeschool is to reach out to local homeschoolers for support, comradery, and interactions. Below we have different Guam co-ops and Guam homeschool groups to help get you started on your homeschooling journey.
To have your group listed please add the information in the comments below or contact me here.
Guam Homeschool Groups
Homeschool groups can help you find different resources that are available throughout the area. These groups can help locate local homeschool groups, co-op homeschool groups, and virtual homeschool groups in Guam.
GCHC – Guam Christian Homeschool Cooperative
“We are a Bible-based group of homeschooling families, coming together to provide our children with educational and social enrichment opportunities. We offer two 6 week long semesters of enrichment classes each school year, one in the fall and one in the spring.”
“This is a discussion group for homeschoolers on Guam created to help us support each other.”
Support and encouragement to those in the community who choose to home school their children. Participation in the group is voluntary. The leadership of the group is made up of conservative evangelical Christians.
Guam Homeschool Material Sale and Exchange
“The mission of this group is to facilitate access to homeschooling resources for parents who are exclusively homeschooling children in the current or upcoming school year. Due to the availability of such materials being quite limited on Guam, we would request families who are currently using, planning to use, OR are not sure at this time whether you will use public school resources (public online education, textbooks, printed materials, etc.), in whole or in part, to please refrain from seeking to join the group so as to optimize availability for those most in need of these resources.”
“This group is for Military Homeschoolers stationed on Guam.”
“This a space for non-religious affiliated home educators in Guam to meet, share experiences, discuss curriculum and/or non-curriculum based learning, plan group activities (for those interested), and anything else related to homeschooling in Guam!”
