Homeschooling is a grand adventure for both parents and children. One of the first steps when deciding to homeschool is to reach out to local homeschoolers for support, comradery, and interactions. Below we have different Kansas co-ops and Kansas homeschool groups to help get you started on your homeschooling journey.

Kansas Statewide Homeschool Groups
Statewide homeschool groups can help you find different resources that are available throughout the state. These groups can help locate local homeschool groups, co-op homeschool groups, and virtual homeschool groups in Kansas.

This is an inclusive, secular homeschooling or unschooling educational cooperative in Lawrence, KS. Events, activities, play dates and such are created by individual members.
(TEACH) of Lawrence, Kansas, though decidedly Christian in focus, is open to all home schooling families.
Unschooling and Homeschooling both traditional and nontraditional. An all inclusive secular group for families to connect, share info, make playdates, field trips and share Co-Op ideas/responsibilities.

We serve a wide geographical area, roughly defined as the Kansas side of the greater Kansas City metro area. Formerly Johnson County Parent Educators. Families in Wyandotte, Miami, and Douglas counties are members of our organization.
L.E.A.R.N. is the Kansas City Area’s secular homeschool support group. We provide support for people who choose to educate their children at home for educational reasons.
This group is for actively unschooling families in the Kansas City area. If you are unsure of what unschooling is, this is probably not the group for you.
