Homeschooling is a grand adventure for both parents and children. One of the first steps when deciding to homeschool is to reach out to local homeschoolers for support, comradery, and interactions. Below we have different Kentucky co-ops and Kentucky homeschool groups to help get you started on your homeschooling journey.

Kentucky Statewide Homeschool Groups
Statewide homeschool groups can help you find different resources that are available throughout the state. These groups can help locate local homeschool groups, co-op homeschool groups, and virtual homeschool groups in Kentucky.
Christian Home Educators of Kentucky (CHEK)
“Christian Home Educators of Kentucky (CHEK) is a statewide homeschooling educational and informational organization established to assist families who choose to educate their children according to the dictates of their conscience and their fundamental rights as parents. CHEK’s goal is to better equip home schoolers with the necessary skills, tools, and information to successfully fulfill their convictions and the God-mandated responsibility to train and educate their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”

Homeschool FUSION of Northern Kentucky
“Homeschool Fusion is a free, active, in-person social group for home learners in Northern Kentucky area. Our goal is to provide a forum where homeschoolers can plan events, connect with other homeschooling families, and “fuse” friendships. Every member is welcome and encouraged to post meetups that meet their needs”

“PACHEK is for the whole family–all children are welcome to our meetings, field trips, and events with their parents. We do offer childcare for smaller children during meetings when possible. Some activities are offered for specific age groups. Co-op is open to all children, nursery through high school, with a participating parent.”
Mid-West Secular Homeschoolers
“The Mid-West Secular Homeschoolers Facebook Group has been formed to give homeschooling families in the Mid-West (and beyond!) who prefer to take a secular approach to their children’s education a place for information, advice and support.”

Cumberland Christian Home Educators
“CCHE is a Christian support group for families choosing to educate their children at home in south central Kentucky. We provide encouragement for the exciting journey of homeschooling, as well as extracurricular activities and enrichment classes to support individual homeschool families in raising up a generation of godly young men and women. We have been serving Pulaski (and surrounding counties) County since 1997.”
