Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum
Along our 18-acre waterfront campus and 10 exhibit buildings, students can climb to the top of or event spend the night in an 1879 lighthouse, learn about buyboats on a cruise on the Miles River, get their hands wet exploring a waterman’s shanty, and visit a real working boat yard where shipwrights share their knowledge and show you their magic.
