Homeschooling is a grand adventure for both parents and children. One of the first steps when deciding to homeschool is to reach out to local homeschoolers for support, comradery, and interactions. Below we have different Nebraska co-ops and Nebraska homeschool groups to help get you started on your homeschooling journey.

Nebraska Statewide Homeschool Groups
Statewide homeschool groups can help you find different resources that are available throughout the state. These groups can help locate local homeschool groups, co-op homeschool groups, and virtual homeschool groups in Nebraska.
“The NCHEA is a volunteer, non-profit organization founded in 1986 whose mission is to encourage and support Christian families in the education of their children at home in accordance with Biblical principles (Proverbs 22:6 and Ephesians 6:4) and to support the rights of Christian parents to homeschool their children.”
“Nebraska Homeschool knows the value of mentoring. That’s why we offer a variety of services to homeschool families and groups. Supportive people and timely information help parents choose the best homeschool options for their children. Nebraska Homeschool believes in collaboration. Nebraska Regional Groups

“We are a group of homeschooling families based out of Hastings Nebraska, serving Hastings and all the surrounding communities. If you are a home educator from the South Central Nebraska area and would like to be added to our email list please contact us below. We are not currently charging a fee to belong to SCCHEA. “The Catholic Homeschool Association of Omaha (CHAO) is an organization of homeschooling families who support and encourage one another through our monthly sharing in the Holy Mass and a variety of other educational, social and spiritual activities.”
“We are a free, non-profit group of homeschoolers in the Elkhorn and West Omaha, Nebraska area seeking to meet the heart needs of homeschooling families by encouraging, supporting and enriching both parents and children.”
“This is a group for families in the Omaha area who homeschool to connect. Anybody is welcome. This group has no religious affiliation.”
“The Omaha Homeschool Learning Center is a Christian ministry, founded on ecumenical Catholic principles, which should be respected, but need not be accepted. Our classes are open to all homeschoolers, regardless of religious orientation, but parents should be aware that classes may be taught from a Christian perspective.”
