Nevada Statewide Homeschool Groups

Statewide homeschool groups can help you find different resources that are available throughout the state. These groups can help locate local homeschool groups, co-op homeschool groups, and virtual homeschool groups in Nevada.

Nevada Homeschoolers

“This is a group for those, who are, have, or will be homeschooling in Nevada. Homeschooling as defined by Nevada law is a parent or parents taking full responsibility for the education of their children. You sign a Notice of Intent and submit an education plan to the State.”

Nevada Regional Groups

Some homeschool support groups and co-ops offer their services to multiple counties in the state. These groups have been sorted into regional groups.

Our vision is to have regular park days and activities in Henderson where our kids can get to know some of the same kids each week and where we can receive and offer support as homeschooling parents by fostering friendships at those park days. In addition to park days, we will be setting up some activities and field trips that can be anywhere in the Las Vegas or Henderson area.”

It’s cool that the idea of home schooling is spreading so much around the world. This seems to me to be very useful and important. The school system is too imperfect to send your child there. And he can get socialization by communicating with neighboring children. There is much more to be taught at home than at school. It is not for nothing that in ancient times, training took place just like this.
