This group is for families who are homeschooling in the New York City Area. The purpose is to share information about workshops, trips, classes, meet-ups etc. that are of interest. We are inclusive and secular. Diversity and acceptance are welcome and encouraged.

Bronx Unschooling Homeschooling NYC
This group was created as a safe place for families who are homeschooling their children. We will learn, share and find resources necessary to guide our children with out imposing barriers. We are homeschooling/unschooling and proud of it. If you are a family who is unschooling/homeschooling then this is the place for you. All family members, babies, children, tweens and teens are welcome. We can all benefit from meeting new people and having healthy conversations.


Brooklyn Apple Academy
Students at B.A.A. are given the time to play outdoors, and the space and resources they need to sustain their curiosity, and become inspired, independent learners. Brooklyn Apple is Brooklyn’s first and only Home School Resource Center. In addition to our full day programs, we offer meet ups, classes, events, and room for the community to flourish! Park Slope Homeschoolers
An inclusive and diverse homeschool community welcoming all homeschoolers living in and around Park Slope, Brooklyn. We are a vibrant and dedicated community, creating opportunities for the social and educational growth of our homeschool families.


Resource and Opportunity Center
The ROC for Homeschoolers is open to homeschooling families in the New York City area, and serves as a gathering/meeting place and informal resource center. Through the offering of programs of classes, workshops, free playtime and activities, families can enjoy socializing, and sharing/swapping – information, opinions, materials and/or meals, etc – while learning and playing together with other homeschooling families. Various classes, and activities are scheduled throughout the year at our home base in the East Village, as well as in various other locations including The Dana Discovery Center in Central Park, The Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew on the Upper West Side and the New York Riding Academy on Randall’s Island, among others.

A secular homeschooling organization based in Queens, New York. We host and attend events in Queens County and all the surrounding areas. Our group is open to all homeschoolers regardless of homeschooling philosophy, religion or ethnic background. We also invite those who are interested in home schooling their children in the future to join us in order to learn more.

Staten Island Christian Home Educators
SICHE, a member of LEAH for over 20 years, has been a resource for the evangelical Christian community at large. We hold monthly group meetings, sponsor educational co-ops, field trips, and multiple events throughout the year. New members are always welcome.
