Washington DC Homeschool Groups
Homeschool groups can help you find different resources that are available throughout the area. These groups can help locate local homeschool groups, co-op homeschool groups, and virtual homeschool groups in Washington DC.
“Andrews Home Educators (AHE) is a support group on Joint Base Andrews for Active Duty, Retired, Reserve, and DoD families (valid ID card) who have chosen to educate their children at home. We offer classes, field trips, Moms’ Nights Out, Mom Meet Ups (chances for moms and kids to get together), and other fun activities. In the past we have had History and Science Fairs, and Used Curriculum Sales.”
“Capitol Hill Learning Group (CHLG) is a University-Model® micro-school (we are currently in the process of certification with UMSI). CHLG is faith-based in the Evangelical Christian tradition with an aim to teach and guide students through the lens of a Biblical worldview. “

Our mission is to provide multicultural, science, literacy, and arts education, with a focus on anti-racist, anti-bias, and social justice curriculum. Dr. Stacey Cohen, City Kids’ founder, teaches the English and Social Studies courses.”
