West Virginia Homeschooling Academic Assessment Report
A written narrative is a document which states that a certified teacher has reviewed a portfolio of work on behalf of a home schooled child, and states whether or not the child has completed successfully, understood completely, and has comprehended his or her academic studies throughout that grade level.

Southern WV Secular Homeschoolers 
We are a Secular Homeschool Group serving the Beckley and surrounding areas. The goal is to find and unite the secular homeschool families in southern WV for activities and support.

West Virginia Home Educators Association
The West Virginia Home Educators Association was founded in 1986 to assist homeschooling families. WVHEA is a nonprofit organization open to everyone, regardless of religion, personal beliefs, or educational philosophy. Follow current legislation of importance to homeschool families here.

West Virginia Secular Homeschoolers
This is an exclusively secular group for West Virginia homeschoolers. Secular means *no religion* so our members are free-thinkers, atheists, agnostics, and other non-religious homeschoolers. While we don’t deliberately offend those who are religious, we also won’t tiptoe around to avoid it.


Early Assessment College Placement Testing
If you are almost ready for college and live in Barbour, Doddridge, Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, Preston, Randolph, or Taylor counties, Fairmont State College will give you a free math or English placement test.
