Best Secular Homeschool Curriculum Awards 2022

By: Andrea Dillon and Mindy Scirri

You have decided to homeschool, been pushed to homeschooling due to circumstances, or need ways to supplement your child’s traditional schooling.  After finding out about the homeschooling laws in your state, one of your initial questions is, “What is the best secular homeschool curriculum?”  You start to look at the various curriculums that are available for homeschooling and quickly realize that many, or even most, of them are based on religious teachings.

Whether or not you have religious beliefs, you feel that academics is separate from religion.  You decide that you want a strong academic curriculum that does not have a basis in any religion.  If you want to teach religion to your children, you will do so in ways outside of the core curriculum.  You need to find an appropriate non-religious curriculum for your children, and this is where we can help!

What is a Secular Curriculum?

A secular homeschool curriculum is one that does not favor the beliefs of any one religion.  This is an especially important distinction in the area of science, when such concepts as the origin of the earth can vary between science and religious beliefs.  What is the best secular homeschool curriculum?  Find out what homeschoolers voted as the top secular homeschool curriculum for 2022!

Welcome to Build Your Library Curriculum! I am a homeschool mother of four and I spent years searching for a curriculum that fit my needs.  I was sick of having to tweak each program to death to make it work for my family.
